Indonesia - Forum for Corporate Governance

The Forum for Corporate Governance in Indonesia (FCGI) was established in February 2000 by five leading professional and business associations. The Forum meets frequently, coordinates educational programs and acts as a platform for dialogue and discussion.

The Forum works closely with the National Committee on Good Corporate Governance (NCCG) - that has been responsible for a Code of Conduct of Good Corporate Governance - and international institutions (ADB, USAID and the OECD).

The FCGI and NCCG organized Indonesia's first national conference on corporate governance in January 2003. For more information on the Forum, please contact Mr. Elmar Bouma - Program Director FCGI. Source: www.fcgi.or.id

The Forum has been used as a role model for the Macedonian Corporate Governance Council that was established by the USAID CG&CL Project in January 2004. Gregory Maassen has been providing training to the forum since 2002.
