Our website is hosted in the US by Siteground, a specialized JOOMLA! provider for $5.95 a month - at least that is what we are paying for the next three years. They are hosting over 250,000 sites (some 60,000 Joomla! sites).

So far, the hosting is reliable. Their fraud detection system is excellent - when we ordered our hosting online, we used a Dutch credit card while we were physically in Afghanistan (for work obviously). They called us in Afghanistan to ensure I was the person who they thought I was. It must have cost them more calling me than what they make hosting the site - but is shows that they take customer protection seriously.

I have tried other hosts for others who wanted to have their own Joomla site, but keep on ending up with Siteground.
